TOTAL received photographs were in 3 sections:

1. Open – black and white, monochrome – received 884 photographs by 228 authors, and in the final selection remained 240 photographs by 137 authors.
2. Open – color – received 904 photographs from 229 authors, and in the final selection remained 191 photographs by 108 authors.
3. Nature – received 476 photographs from 121 authors, and in the final selection remained 119 photographs by 58 authors.
4. Theme 1 – „My town“ – received 401 photographs from 102 authors, and in the final selection remained 57 photographs by 40 authors.
5. Theme 2 – „Nude“ – received 329 photographs from 82 authors, and in the final selection remained 65 photographs by 38 authors.
the printed catalog included 143 photographs of 74 authors from 30 countries.
The exhibition included 101 photographs by 57 artists from 26 countries.
In subsequently was recorded CD catalog that includes all of the final selection of the jury – 672 photographs by 205 artists from 54 countries.

From Plovdiv Municipality

Plovdiv Municipality officially announced its CALENDAR OF CULTURAL EVENTS FOR 2015
/ Adopted by Decision № 239 taken with Protocol № 13 on 24.07.2014 /
in which in the group of projects “Regulation on conditions for financing of initiatives in the field of culture and their inclusion in the calendar of cultural events of the Municipality of Plovdiv” include

Second International Photo Salon Plovdiv 2015.

Second International Photo Salon Plovdiv 2015 will be held under the patronage of FIAP – International organization for photographic art, and under the patronage of the Academy of Photography Bulgaria “Yanka Kyurkchieva”. This event is held for the second time in Plovdiv, which will add assets to the promotion of the city as the oldest living city in Europe and is in support of the nomination of the city as European Capital of Culture in 2019.
The project has a character of contest. In It participate professional and amateur photographers from around the world and the awarded works will be arranged in exhibition exposed from May 21 in the exhibition hall of the Society of Plovdiv Artists 32,Gladston Str., 4000 Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Winners and part of final selected photographs will be included in the printed catalog.
