Professionals and amateurs from all over the world can participate in this contest.
Accepted entries in final selection will be eligible for the following FIAP Honors – AFIAP, EFIAP, EFIAP/b, EFIAP/s, EFIAP/g, EFIAP/p. All acceptance eligibility shall be in accordance with the PID Star Ratings or the Galaxy/Diamond Ratings requirements as appropriate. Acceptances in final selection shall be credited towards PSA Star Ratings for the each division and Who‘s Who Listings or the Galaxy/Diamond Ratings requirements as appropriate, credited toward the PSA Distinctions PPSA and EPSA. Competition PSA Division & Definitions – Acceptances in PID recognized Color sections shall be credited towards PID Color Star Ratings and Who‘s Who Color listings. Monochrome images accepted in PID recognized Color sections shall only be credited towards PID Color Star Ratings. Acceptances in PID recognized Monochrome sections shall be credited towards PID Monochrome Star Ratings and Who‘s Who Monochrome listings.  All entries in the monochrome section must meet the current PSA PID Definition.
BREACH OF CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: If the exhibition determines before, during, or after the judging, that an entrant has submitted entries where one or more images fail to comply with these Conditions of Entry, including the stated definitions (on pages 3 and 4 in this document), the exhibition reserves the right and discretion to delete the entry from the exhibition and void any or all acceptances or awards. Fees may be forfeited in these circumstances. In order to ensure that images comply with the Conditions of Entry and definitions, the exhibition may carry out checks on the images to make sure that: a) the images are the original work of the entrant and b) the images comply with the rules and definitions as set out in these Conditions of Entry. This may involve asking the entrant to provide originally captured image(s), with EXIF data intact, by a set deadline. The questioned image(s) of any entrant failing to comply with such a request for the original image(s) may be considered in breach of these Conditions of Entry, and declined. Such entries may be referred to PSA for further investigation of possible ethics violations. PSA retains the right to investigate in any way all complaints/suspicions of breaches of entry conditions, impose sanctions if deemed necessary, include the entrant’s name on the list of sanctions provided to Exhibitions, and share such investigations with FIAP. Entrants automatically agree to these terms by the act of entering the Exhibition.”

Salon accepted up to 4 photography in each section (from 1 to 5) and a total of 4 for the 6th section + subtheme 6.1. -  maximum 24 photos in all 6 sections. An author may not enter identical or similar photographs into different sections of the salon.
* If 4 photos for “My town” are only for Subtheme 6.1. this section is free of fee! But only for entrants who payed in minimum 1 of the other sections. Special prizes are attributed to pictures handed in about subtheme 6.1. too.  FIAP medals and HM will only determined for main theme in „My town“.


This is a digital salon. Every participant is accepted upon submitting:
1. A filled out entry form by any of the following methods:
1.1. On-line entry form on the web site of Plovdiv Photo salon;
1.2. Sent by e-mail to;

2. Photographs (files *.jpg / *.jpeg format, 8-bit color, in RGB profile or in ICC profile (recommended), with recommended horizontal side of 3840 px (for photos with landscape orientation) and vertical side of 2160 px (for photos with portrait orientation), 300 dpi, without any frames, signatures or watermarks. Files over 5 MB does not accepted) submitted in any of the following ways:
2.1. Uploaded in the on-line entry form on the web site;
2.2. Sent by e-mail to;
2.3. Burned on a CD (will not be returned) and sent by mail to same address from 1.3.
3. Payed entry fee by any of the following methods:
3.1. On-line transaction via PayPal form on the web site;
3.2. On-line transaction via PayPal to account (Anton Savov);
3.3. Payment via skrill/moneybookers (ID: 44571872)

The file name should be a maximum of 30 characters, in 5 groups:
group 1 – country ISO code listed on;
group 2 – the author’s name limited to 5 characters
group 3 – artwork name (and town name of EC for Subtheme 6.1.) – it is possible to be the part of the name;
group 4 – sections identificator: M; C; N; PJ; PB; T; E
group 5 – sequential number of the work in section (1, 2, 3, 4);

Note: Words such as “Untitled” and “No Title” are not acceptable as part or all of an image’s title, nor are camera capture filenames. Permitted characters are ONLY digits, latin letters and underscore (_) instead pause. All text should be lowercase except for group 4.

Notes:  The group entries are 3 types: up to 5, up to 10 and up tо 20 authors. They are related to photo-clubs, photo-associations and other groups of photographers. Each participant in the group has an individual choice of number of sections in which to participate. The main requirement for them is an indication of a single mailing address.
All bulgarians participate with 50% discount. All members of APB Yanka Kyrkchieva will participate with Individual entry, but as group with a special discount by organizer „Reflexes“ Ltd – a collective member of Academy of Photography BULGARIA Yanka Kyrkchieva

All announced entry fees does not include the taxes of the bank or the payment system!

The fourth edition of IPS Plovdiv will be judged by the multinational jury in 5 member panel from 4 countries! (Greece, Slovenia, Poland, Bulgaria)

Judging equipment:
Images will be judged with TV LED Smart 3D Panasonic, 55“ (139 cм), TX-55CX400E, 4K Ultra HD, with resolution 3840 x 2160 pixels. The jury team are judging photographs in not consecutive (random) order.

Every participant will receive free of charge printed and CD catalogues.

The exhibition will be displayed at other forums as well. The organizer keep the right to use admitted works for non-commercial aims to promote the PLOVDIV photo salon.
